The F-series has a rack and pinion mechanism machined from solid bar material. A large central piston converts the air pressure into linear thrust. This thrust is converted to rotational torque by a single, straight-cut, stainless steel gear. The Spring Return versions have compression springs that provide the reverse thrust. The actuator meets ISO 5211, NAMUR solenoid interface, and VDI/VDE 3845 level 1 when fitted with an optional bracket. The actuator is also suitable for hazadous areas ATEX group II category 2 for both Dust and Gas. |
