Reliability (S/R)

The F-series range of pneumatic actuators have only two Key components. The pinion is manufactured is stainless steel as standard, giving long and trouble-free operation in corrosive environments.

F-series spring return actuators have only one moving seal in the pressure chamber. Other piston actuators have up the 8 because they pressurise the centre chamber which houses the pinion. F-series S/R actuators cannot leak from the pinion.

Reliability of the F-series is further enhanced due to the balanced piston and short stroke. This minimises wear prolonging the life of the actuator.
